MAJESTIC SKIES

I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t enchanted by the sky, the mesmerizing movement of sun, moon and stars constantly drew me in. I wished I could fly with grace and agility like the birds that soared effortlessly overhead and I loved to rest in the grass and gaze at clouds traveling across the sky, while inventing stories to match their shifting shapes. I remember staring into night skies and wondering if somewhere life on another planet was staring back at me.

I know I am not alone in this love affair with the sky. Now days, I am still enchanted, the sky offers limitless possibilities and I find hope and inspiration, even in dark times. Capturing the expanse, power and breathtaking beauty of the sky is virtually impossible but for me it is a passion that I never tire of.

I see the world being slowly transformed into a wilderness; I hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I look up at the sky, I somehow feel that everything will change for the better, that this cruelty too shall end, that peace and tranquility will return once more.
